Over 700 days have passed since 7th October 2023, and as Jews all over the world begin to prepare for the High Holidays, there are still too many empty chairs around the Shabbat tables, too many families waiting to heal their loved ones after all this time in captivity, too many families still unable to give their loved ones a proper burial. It is enough. Help Bring Light to the Darkness.

There are still 48 hostages in captivity in Gaza and we are hearing first hand from those released how dire, dark and dangerous the conditions are. As their agony persists, so does our fight for their safe return.

Over 22months ago i started the 'youbetheirlight' Shabbat Candle Campaign for the innocent people stolen from their families and homes During the darkest of times, we have packed over 300,000 candles in London alone, with over 6million being distributed globally.

It is the Largest Shabbat Candle initiative in Jewish History. The candles are a symbol of hope, a silent prayer for the safe return of those who cannot light candles where they are currently held.

With these candles we are not just pushing away the darkness, but igniting the divine spark that is within them and all of us.

The weekly cost for the 1,500 North London candle packs is £375.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated and allows people to continue to light ON BEHALF of the innocent hostages.
